The institute is working on herbal medicine and helping cultivators to provide forest land for cultivation of medicinal plants. The scheme is already submitted the Government of Maharashtra which is under consideration. This will help in through understanding of medicinal plants and its cultivation, commercial importance, market etc. It is also proposed to develop a analytical laboratory of Phytopharmaceuticals which will analyze the samples cultivated and help in grading the pure herbs.
